We only stopped here for dinner on our loop through the park but could imagine spending a night or two here would be awesome. Cabins appeared modest based on the size but the convenience and location would more than make up for lack of space. Can't imagine the views you would get at night or early morning. The food at the lodge was very good. The fried green tomatoes are a must have and the blackened trout had a ton of flavor. Service was quick and super friendly.
These cabins are absolutely adorable. I thought it would be too small for our group of 4 adults but it was perfect. Our favorite place to stay in our Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier trip. If you don't like cabins or walking to a bathroom this is not for you but if you enjoy cabins this is perfect. This was one of the nicest cabins I've stayed in.
I went there with my family as we were visiting Yellowstone national park. We didn't stay but we ate at the restaurant. There weren't enough waiters to serve all the tables so we had to wait to get seated. I got a bison burger, if you go you have to get a side of Roosevelt beans. It took a while for our food to get served. We got to sit on the porch in rocking chairs and had an amazing view of the park while we were waiting.
Super rustic, historic and awesome! The cabins are heated by wood stoves and, while small, are surprisingly comfortable. The lodge has an excellent porch for taking it easy and there is a small shop with some basic snacks and treats. There is absolutely no cell service or WiFi so it is a great place to disconnect and relax. The nearby Roosevelt Corral has horseback riding and the Old West Cookout which everyone should absolutely experience.
The rooms here are nice and they very affordable and clean. The only inconvenience is that there are no instructions on how to best use the wood stove to keep the room warm, i recommended taking a lighter and tinder to make it easy. We stayed in a two bed cabin. The shared showers and restrooms were not bad at all, very clean and not far from cabin. Also, there is no place to eat near here other than the Roosevelt lodge however we had a horrible experience when we went for breakfast. There were 6 servers with only 1 cook. We waited over an hour for our scrambled eggs and toast. The restaurant wasn’t even at full capacity. The location is decent depending on what you want to do. Your very close to the lamar valley, best place to see wildlife
I had booked this place in April (for a trip in June 2023, had only 2 spots left!) and we wanted to have a unique experience of staying in a cabin and I got to say we were glad we stayed here! The cabins are individually spaced out with space in front to park your car (they also have separate spaces to park in case you couldn't fit your car). The lobbyist was the most courteous and kind person I've met! (I wish I could remember her name, she was an elderly woman wearing glasses). We had trouble lighting the stove inside the cabin and when I went to the lobby and mentioned that to her, she immediately sent in someone to help out! She was kind enough to give us some extra firestarter as well. The only issue about this place is the time for reservation at the dining room. Once we were told that we had to wait for 45 mins, we decided to skip for dinner as well as breakfast (we probably saved about 2 hrs!). Luckily we already had some cookies and were able to manage. Overall, I would definitely recommend a stay for atleast one night. Not to mention the common bathrooms were clean and well-maintained (try to use them early before 7.30am in the morning to beat the crowd). Also, I would recommend anyone here to skip the dinner and breakfast if you want to save some valuable time and see a couple of other spots instead!
Nice cabins, clean and kept well. They are expensive since they are in a national park. The restaurant meals we had were great, bison bratwurst and a bison burger.
Cosy cabin, very well located in the park. Fortunately there is a fire pit inside the cab as nights can get really cold (even in June). The restaurant next to the cabins is quite good and prices are reasonable. Shared bathroom was fine and not too crowded.
